PROVOCATIVE;    the key word I use to describe my favorite images.  A great image should provoke the observer to pause for a moment and give a "second look" beyond the cursory glance.  Pretty photographs are for calendars, fashion magazines and travel posters.  I want to evoke emotions other than the aesthetic calm of the peaceful landscape and the beautiful magazine Cover Model.  The abstracts and visions that exist in the urban and rural decay, make wonderful canvases for my work.  The stories told by the wrinkles and lines on the faces of the "street folk"; The rusted fence, the rotting building,........  Provocative............
